JOB OVERVIEW

Our well established family dental practice has a position available for an organized and professional Dental Receptionist/Contact Manager/Administrative Assistant. There is a possibility for a quick transition to Treatment Coordinator or Financial Manager for the candidate interested in professional growth. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing customer service and managing the front desk operations. A thorough understanding of dental terminology and proficiency in Abeldent software is an asset. However, we are prepared to provide a training to suitable candidate. We are family oriented office providing a wide range of General Dentistry services. Our team is comprised of well-trained, long-term staff members who are well regarded by our patients. This position will include dental, health, and wellness benefits after a 3 month probation period.

Our office is open Monday to Wednesday 8 AM-8 PM, Thursday 8 AM-5 PM, Fridays and some Saturdays 8 AM-2 PM.

SKILLS

  • Comfortable with dental terminology.
  • Experience with Abeldent dental office software is an asset.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and managing multi-line calls effectively.
  • Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail in an office setting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff alike.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a dental office.
  • Polish, Spanish and Portuguese speaking is an asset.

  • Process patient information and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with office policies.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and managing correspondences.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
