OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
SKILLS
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dental practices.
- Experience working in a medical office or similar front desk environment.
- Familiarity with dental software is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to operate phone systems effectively while multitasking in a busy environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone systems and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date.
- Process patient insurance claims and verify eligibility as needed.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
