JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience with dental softwares, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is a must have.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
  • Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using office scheduling software.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems, such as Abledent.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Process patient forms and insurance information accurately.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance companies when needed.
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the office.
