Description

Modern downtown Toronto office is looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our team. We have a supportive and positive team and great patients. We are committed to providing high quality care to our patients with the latest technology and comfort.
You must be available to work until 7pm on some weekdays and on Saturdays (open 3 Saturdays a month and closed on long weekends)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental receptionist in Canada
  • Knowledge of dental practice processes and workflows (scheduling, financial, and treatment coordination)
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, including Restorative, Cosmetic, Implants, and Invisalign
  • Comfortable with technology and dental practice management software (Tracker experience is an asset)
  • Outstanding communications skills (verbal and written) with a warm and positive attitude
  • Must be passionate about building strong patient relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Great problem-solving skills and comfortable taking initiative
  • Ability to learn from constructive feedback to ensure continued growth
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and answer inquiries in person, on the phone, via email and text
  • Manage the daily schedule, incl. scheduling and confirming appointments, confirming and optimizing the schedule
  • Process insurance claims, send pre-determinations, and get insurance breakdowns
  • Collect payments at time of treatment (non-assignment office)
  • Encourage patient acceptance of dental treatments by answering questions and creating value for the proposed treatment plan. Follow-up with patients with pending treatment
