We’re Ashgrove Dental, a modern, family-focused practice in Brisbane’s inner west. As our practice continues to grow, we’re looking for a Dental Receptionist who is reliable, hard-working, and keen to learn and progress in their career.
This is a varied and hands-on role — perfect for someone who loves to stay busy, takes initiative, and works well as part of a close-knit team.
The Role

As a key member of our front office team, you will:

• Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
• Schedule appointments and manage daily workflow
• Handle phone and email enquiries
• Process payments, HICAPS claims, and end-of-day balancing
• Maintain the reception area to a high standard
• Support sterilization of instruments and general cleaning
• Occasionally assist chairside when needed (training provided if required)

About You

You’re someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in your work
• Has excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Brings a positive attitude and is always willing to help where needed
• Enjoys learning and growing in a team environment
• Is confident and kind in patient communication
• Has previous experience in dental or medical reception, but we’re also open to training the right person
• Has experience or is willing to be trained in sterilisation and basic chairside assistance
