Position: Patient Services Representative (PSR) ORG Type: Administrative Reports to: Practice Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Type: Full Time Posting Date: October 2025 Core Competencies Exceptional personal and professional customer service Effective communication and interpersonal skills Accurate attention to detail and organization Expectations Basic administrative duties: Answer phones, greet patients, check voicemails & e-mails, and respond to patient messages Confirm appointments as needed Verify insurance benefits. Ensure Eaglesoft reflects accurate coverage tables, maximums, deductibles, and frequencies per patient Confirm and updates (old & new) patient identification, demographic and insurance information Schedule appointments in a practical and smart way. Maintain providers schedules by managing cancellations, changes, or delays to appointment status Obtain appropriate forms/paperwork from patients (consents, registration, medical clearance, medication lists, etc) and apply correctly to patient documents Communicate effectively amongst the dental team and patients. Comfortable having conversations about finances and configuring financial arrangements if needed Collect patient co-pays at time of service Comfortable and confidant presenting proposed treatment and treatment options.
