SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Customer Focus: Personable, positive, and enthusiastic with a passion for great service.
  • Administrative Skills: Previous experience in reception or administration roles would be an advantage.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Communication and Organisation: Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organisational ability.
  • Team Player: Able to work effectively as part of a busy, friendly team.
  • Dental Experience: Not essential, but a bonus!
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout their visit. You’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the front desk by efficiently managing appointments, handling patient enquiries, and working collaboratively with the wider practice team.
You will also assist in the day-to-day administrative duties, supporting the Patient Care Manager and Lead Receptionist to ensure a seamless patient journey and compliance with practice policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner.
  • Appointment Management: Manage bookings, reschedule appointments, and handle telephone and email enquiries.
  • Practice Support: Work closely with the Patient Care Manager and Lead Receptionist and clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Information Sharing: Provide patients with details about treatments, plans, and payment options.
  • Administrative Duties: Update patient records accurately and handle payment processing and daily reconciliation.
  • Confidentiality: Always maintain strict patient confidentiality.
