JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks within a busy dental office. This role requires proficiency in ABELdent dental software, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of dental terminology and billing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist
  • Proficiency in dental administrative functions including scheduling, billing, and coding.
  • Proficient in ABELdent software
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage the front desk operations.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimal wait times.
  • Verify patient insurance information and handle insurance claims processing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct dental billing and coding using ABELdent
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient visits.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, addressing inquiries and directing calls as needed.
  • Assist with patient intake processes and care plan documentation.
  • Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and patient records
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
