Description

Our office is seeking an experienced, professional and motivated individual to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the field of dentistry and has a genuine interest in helping others. Our dental receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, answering questions and helping with insurance forms, so we’re also looking for an individual who possesses strong customer service skills and can remain calm under pressure. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with your work experience and training level. BENEFITS AVAILABLE. Mandarin/Cantonese will be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Accept payments from patients for services rendered.
  • Schedule patients for check-ups, cleanings and other procedures.
  • Answer the phone and patient questions.
  • Research dental insurance plans for uninsured or underinsured patients.
  • Explain benefits of dental insurance to patients.
  • Answer questions about fees, payment plans, and insurance coverage.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and dentists.
  • Consult with the office manager and assistants to ensure that patient records are up-to-date.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
