JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking two friendly and organised Dental Receptionists to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and creating a welcoming environment for all patients.

SKILLS

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in office administration practices, including familiarity with dental software systems (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various roles within the practice.

Wednesday - 8:15am-8pm

ROLE 2

Thursday 8:15am-6pm
Friday 8:15am-5pm
Saturday 8:45am-1pm/4pm

DUTIES

• Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently to optimise patient flow.
• Handle incoming calls, responding to inquiries and providing information about services offered.
• Calling patient due for their recalls.
• Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up to date and confidential.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries as needed.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
• Uphold a clean and organised reception area, ensuring it is welcoming for patients.
