Luminous dental is a family owned, non-corporate clinic. and we have been serving the community for over 40 years as Dr. Gavin Chu Inc. We have recently re-branded and are expanding our team and hours of operation to serve our patients better. We have loyal long term patients and staff and a supportive environment for learning.
We are currently looking for a Dental Receptionist to work part time along with our existing team. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year experience at a busy assignment dental clinic and is very familiar with Tracker and Recall Max. We are opening to training a strong candidate who is new graduate of an accredited dental reception program. Please note, your applcation will not be considered if you do not have canadian dental reception experience or have recently graduated from a canadian dental reception program.
We are open Monday - Friday, this position is part time for Monday - Wednesday only.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and mange the schedule
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with accurate billing and payment processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists
Skills:
- Experience working in a dental office
- Highly proficient in using dental software such as Tracker and Recall Max
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedure codes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
