JOB OPPORTUNITY: DENTAL RECEPTIONIST

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. As an essential member of our team, you will help ensure a smooth, efficient experience for our patients while managing the front desk operations of our dental office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical office is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Epic) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide information about services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cleardent, Epic).
  • Verify patient insurance and assist with billing inquiries.
  • Use medical terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and staff.
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and phone system management.
