JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our expanding reception team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, primarily based at our lively reception assisting the dentist during procedures when required, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in IT systems related to dental practice management.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
  • Experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • A genuine commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
  • Provide high-quality patient care by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort throughout procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
  • Sterilise instruments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
