We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental receptionist to join our dental practice. As a receptionist you will play a vital role by representing the practice as front of house. The ideal candidate should be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and have a friendly and professional demeanor. A strong work ethic, passion for patient care, and confidence in reception duties are essential for success in this role.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in SOE Exact software
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental compliance is a plus.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Represent the practice as front of house.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using practice management software.
- Patient Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Billing and Payments: Process payments, issue receipts, and manage patient accounts.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection laws.
- Insurance and Referral Coordination: Verify patient details and follow up on referrals and approvals as required.
- Waiting Area Oversight: Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Patient Recall Management: Send reminders for upcoming appointments and follow-ups.
- Compliance: Adhere to infection control protocols and all practice policies and procedures.
