SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a customer service role (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • IT literate (experience with dental software an advantage, but training will be given)
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team. In addition to traditional reception duties, you will play an important role in following up with new patient enquiries, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from their very first contact with us.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing appointment bookings and diary scheduling
  • Handling patient queries via phone, email, and in person
  • Following up with new patient leads and enquiries to help them book consultations
  • Providing information about treatments and services (training provided)
  • Supporting clinicians and the wider dental team with administrative tasks
  • Processing payments and managing patient records in line with GDPR compliance
