JOB SUMMARY

Riverside West Dental is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in a dental setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a dental or medical receptionist (dental experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Tracker, AbelDent, or similar) is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients in a warm, professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and manage inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Register new patients and update patient records accurately.
  • Verify insurance information and assist with billing/claims.
  • Process payments, prepare receipts, and balance daily transactions.
  • Manage recall and follow-up systems.
  • Support clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization.
