Selkirk Dental Clinic in Revelstoke is seeking a Part time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.
Our cohesive team is looking to add an energetic and detail-oriented administrative assistant. We are a thriving, newly fully renovated, community dental clinic with a fast-paced and positive work environment.

Must be able to work Monday- Thursday with the flexibility of filling in on the odd occasion.

Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental team.
  • Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
  • Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephone reminders.
  • Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
  • Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
  • Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones and emails, photocopying, filing, and faxing.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Must be legal to work in Canada
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
