We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, as well as a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office’s calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing questions
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer service-oriented mindset
