JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in front desk operations, familiarity with dental terminology, and experience with dental software - Tracker.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and dental software
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently with strong communication skills.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Tracker.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance information.
  • Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
  • Optimizing schedule consistently for the dentist and hygienist
  • Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries, follow up with pre-authorizations
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and provide support as needed.
  • Billing Insurance and collecting balances, Account receivables/payables
  • Hygiene/ Recall management/ Treatment Coordination
