JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and organized full time Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental office procedures.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and scheduling software; experience with Open Dental is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic dental records using Open Dental
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including handling insurance verification and billing. inquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
