Westmount Dental are looking for an experienced dental receptionist to join our dedicated contact centre in Gateshead.
Westmount Dental have created a centralised patient enquiry team, in Gateshead, where all of our patients queries are handled away from our clinics.
This role is great for an experienced dental receptionist who is looking for a change from working in clinic, and being away from dealing with patients in-person.

Benefits:

  • £12.44 per hour
  • 4 or 5 day working week
  • 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

Duties will include:

  • Answering the telephone and deal with patient enquiries in an efficient, positive and friendly manner
  • Schedule patient appointments in accordance with practice policies and keep records of all appointments.
  • Operate the practice software (Dentally)
  • Operate the practice recall system
  • Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
  • Deal with patient feedback in an appropriate manner and feed back to the practice manager about patient comments and complaints
  • Manage the appointment book effectively to ensure goals are met
