JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team of over 60 staff.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and enhancing patient experiences.

SKILLS

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet management.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • A compassionate attitude towards patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visit.
    We are open 6:50-20:10 Mondays-Thursdays, 6:50-18:10 on Fridays and 6:50-15:10 on Saturdays.
    The job will involve working weekday shifts to cover these hours:
    Mondays 14:15-20:10
    Tuesdays 14:15-20:10
    Wednesdays 14:15-20:10
    Thursdays 14:15-20:10
    Fridays 11:00 -18:10
    Total: 29h10

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist’s time.
  • Manage patient records, including updating personal information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Handle incoming calls, responding to inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the practice.
