Dental Scheduling Coordinator/Dental Office Administrator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Scheduling Coordinator/Dental Office Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in managing appointment schedules, maintaining efficient office operations, and ensuring exceptional patient care. Strong knowledge of dental scheduling, insurance codes, and dental terminology is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with dentists and administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize patient appointment schedules using Abeldent software to achieve a productive, fully booked calendar.
  • Maintain accurate electronic patient records and appointment details.
  • Communicate clearly and politely with patients about appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to streamline workflows and support timely patient care.
  • Work with administrative staff to ensure successful daily office operations and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dental office is required.
  • Proficiency in Abeldent is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Excellent organizational skills with multitasking abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.
