Description

Dental Sterilization Technicians have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of dental instruments and equipment, including trays, drills and x-ray machines
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment before and after procedures
  • Prepare dental operation rooms for patient treatment
  • Store, manage, and inventory dental supplies and instruments
  • Monitor sterilization equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures in line with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Dispose of contaminated or sharp waste according to regulatory guidelines
  • Assist dental staff in patient care if needed
  • Maintain and update patient records regarding sterilization procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
