FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Texas Star Dental is a small, fast-paced, in-network private practice located in Vintage Park. We are seeking an exceptional Sterlization Technician to join our “work family”.
We don’t want someone who is just looking for a job, but rather someone who has a passion for dentistry and wants to grow in this field. We are happy to train the right candidate in all the skills necessary to be an excepetional sterilization tech, but we don’t want the growth to stop there. We would eventually train this person to be a dental assistant and/or help out in our front desk. No experience is required, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a heart for learning will be necessary to be successful in this role.
We have 2 part-time Doctors and 2 Hygienists who have warm personalities, are truly passionate about dentistry and have a genuine love for people. We are a high tech, utilizing 2 types of digital scanners, CBCT technology, fully digital charting, digital impressions, smile simulators, and much more! We have fun utilizing technology to acheive our goals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • No experience required
  • Computer skills are helpful as we will be training you on our software, Dentrix. We are a paperless office.
  • We utilize gmail for our office communication and Google Drive. Experience with both of these are helpful.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and sterile lab area, cleaning instruments, maintaining ultrasonics and autoclaves, stocking bur blocks
  • Cleaning/Sterilizing rooms before and after completed treatments
  • Maintain awareness of the daily schedule and office flow, communication on head-set radios
  • Stocking rooms
  • Organizing and stocking hygiene supplies and restorative supplies
  • Seating patients, taking vitals
  • Support dental staff by providing chairside assistance during procedures as needed.
