Posting Title: Dental Surgeon Industry: Medical Salary: ₹50,000/mon to ₹60,000/mon Work Experience: 0–1 year Responsibilities: Conduct thorough oral examinations and patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions. Perform restorative procedures including dental fillings, crowns, and sealants. Provide preventive dental care such as fluoride treatments, patient education, and dietary counseling. Carry out scaling and polishing to maintain periodontal health and prevent gum disease. Manage endodontic treatments including root canal therapy and post-treatment follow-ups. Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions, including deep cleaning and maintenance therapy. Fabricate and fit temporary and permanent prosthetics, including dentures and bridges. Identify and refer patients requiring orthodontic or specialized dental care. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with medical standards. Ensure all clinical equipment and instruments are sterilized and maintained according to infection control protocols. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care. Requirements: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the State Dental Council or equivalent regulatory body. Strong proficiency in oral diagnosis and clinical decision-making. Hands-on experience in restorative dentistry, preventive dentistry, and dental fillings. Demonstrated skills in scaling & polishing, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthetics. Ability to manage patient anxiety and communicate treatment plans clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with digital dental imaging and electronic health record systems. Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical environment. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
