JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Technician to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and fitting dentures for our Denturist, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental anatomy, dexterity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment.

• Design and fabricate complete and partial dentures using proper construction techniques.
• Ensure proper fitting of dentures by making adjustments as necessary to enhance comfort and functionality.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to continually improve service quality.
• Requirements
• Proven experience in a dental office or laboratory setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
• Familiarity with CAD software for denture design is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• A commitment to providing high-quality denture products in a supportive environment.
• Certification or licensure as a Dental Technician in accordance with the College of Dental Technologists of Alberta is required.
