Description This position will specialize in one of the skill subsets listed below- Front Line: Model Making Prepare models, opposing models, and solids Pour models, opposing models, and solids Trim and set pins in model Set bite and articulate models on plastic, metal, and full-adjustable articulators Pre QC Order parts from various implant vendors Pull parts and pieces to fabricate restoration Enter Lot Numbers into the system Planning Schedule case according to Rx Reach out to Doctors to discuss case if more information is needed Put together impression pin and analog Create soft tissue model Back Line: Scan Utilize dental scanner to scan model into the CAD software Verify physical model and 3D model match in the dental software Design Verify information on the Dr.’s RX form Load scanned file into design software Utilize design software to create a 3D image/model of the final product Finishing Fit product(s) to model Using specified small hand tools, smooth out and high polish surfaces of the milled product(s) for an aesthetically pleasing look.
