The Smile Outlet requires a dental technician with significant experience in working with orthodontic appliances such as palatal expanders, braces, aligners and retainers (vaccuum formed and Bonded Lingual Wires) You will be exclusively using 3D scanning and 3D printers and must have at least 2 years experience in orthodontics.

Background and qualifications include:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification as a Dental Technician
• Worked within a digital practice using 3D intra-oral scanners and 3D printers.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and techniques.
• Experience retainer manufacture essential
• Attention to detail and pride in own work
• Ability to work in a team environment and by yourself.
• Experience in wire bending highly beneficial

Tasks:

• Familiar with indirect bracket bonding setups.
• providing education and instruction to motivate patients in regards to their oral health and hygiene while in treatment.
• taking digital impressions of the teeth for braces and aligner therapy.
• Understand how to fit bands and appliances.
• Constructing retainers (removable and bonded) and instructing on their use.

The successful applicant needs to have a minimum of 2 years experience, excellent communication skills with a positive attitude, effective time management skills, and attention to detail who enjoys working in a team environment.
The annual salary offered will be up to $78,000 based on experience and skills.
