Description

The Treatment Co-Ordinator’s main role is to liaise with patients to give them an understanding of possible treatments and costs. The successful candidate must be professional, friendly and polite. As part of the dental team the treatment coordinator’s role is to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the practice, to adhere to practice protocol at all times, in line with company polices, goals and values. You must be an experienced dental nurse .

Experience:

Responsibilities

Greet and care for all patients and visitors to the practice in a polite and courteous manner at all times.
Deal with all enquires, either in person, email or on the telephone in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data protection.
Maintain the record systems of the practice, ensuring patients receive all necessary paper work and all forms are signed and dated correctly and information is up to date.
Deal with incoming patient referrals and book appropriate appointments
Treatment plan follow up calls and tracking the patients journey
Send out appointments and reminders to patients.
Manage patient enquires via WhatsApp, online, emails and telephone.
Ensure the practice is always kept in an appropriate condition.
Promote a professional image of the company at all times and be knowledgeable about the services the practice provides.
Inform the practice managers about patient comments and complaints
Ensure all monies are taken for treatment.
Identify own training and development needs (to be discussed within regular reviews)
Draft letters and reports in accordance with the instructions of dentists at the practice
Ensure that the practice diary is run effectively.
Carry out administrative duties to ensure effective running of the Practice
Be aware of all practice policies and procedures to ensure CQC compliance.
To be able to take OPG radiographs (training will be offered
To carry our intra oral scans and photographs
To be GDC registered
Perform such other tasks as are reasonably requested by the Practice Management/Directors
Observing patients consultations so that you are able to liaise with the dentists and patients
Co-ordinate financing for patients/ finance payment plans.
You must be able to provide references on request, one of them from your last employer. A DBS check will be carried out.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
