JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Denter to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of body repair techniques, dent removal, and panel beating. The role involves working on various makes and models, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an automobile denter/body technician.
• Knowledge of denting tools, equipment, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work on multiple types of vehicles (cars, SUVs, light commercial).
• Strong attention to detail and precision in repairs.
• Basic understanding of welding and grinding.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of damage to body parts.
• Perform dent removal, panel beating, reshaping, and straightening of vehicle frames and bodywork.
• Remove damaged panels and replace or repair using tools such as hammers, dollies, welding equipment, and hydraulic jacks.
• Use filler materials to repair minor dents and scratches, followed by sanding and preparation for painting.
• Ensure proper alignment and fit of body panels, doors, bonnets, and bumpers.
• Collaborate with painters and mechanics to ensure a smooth repair process.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety procedures and workshop cleanliness.
