POSITION OVERVIEW • General Dentistry role within mission-driven healthcare system serving underserved communities • Four-day work week designed to support provider balance and lifestyle flexibility • Established outpatient dental practice supported by hygienists, dental techs, and Dental Director • Opportunity to practice broad-scope dentistry in collaborative rural healthcare environment • Scenic high desert location near the Sacramento Mountains with access to hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and outdoor recreation COMPENSATION • Base Salary: $200,000 – $230,000 based on experience • Eligible for up to $20,000 sign-on bonus • Student loan repayment through NHSC-approved site • Relocation assistance available SCHEDULE • Tuesday through Friday schedule • Four 10-hour shifts weekly • No weekends required • Minimal or no on-call responsibilities ROLE • Provide comprehensive general dentistry services primarily for adult patients • Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and dental conditions • Perform cleanings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and general procedures • Maintain accurate patient records within EMR system • Collaborate with local medical center for surgical and complex dental cases • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings • Foster team-oriented and patient-centered care environment ENVIRONMENT • Mission-driven healthcare system with over 115 years of service • Rural outpatient dental practice setting • Collaborative team including hygienists, dental techs, and Dental Director • Strong support staff and structured workflows • Community-focused underserved patient population BENEFITS • Health insurance with HSA-eligible plans and employer contributions • Dental and vision insurance through Guardian • Employer-paid long-term disability coverage • Voluntary short-term disability options • 35 days paid time off annually • Retirement plan with employer contributions • $2,400 CME allowance annually • Malpractice insurance provided • Employee Assistance Program and legal/financial resources • Relocation assistance available • Visa sponsorship available Requirements • DDS or DMD from accredited dental school REQUIRED • Clear and active New Mexico dental license or ability to obtain REQUIRED • DEA license and current CPR certification REQUIRED • Strong communication and collaboration skills REQUIRED • Commitment to serving underserved patient populations REQUIRED • Comfortable practicing broad-scope general dentistry REQUIRED • New graduates welcome • H1B and J1 visa candidates considered Not ready to formally apply?
