Dentessentials Dental Care is a 5 Surgery Mixed NHS and Private Dental Practice in Shoreditch, East London. Our goal is to be known as a Shining Beacon for Quality Dentistry in Shoreditch.

We are Fully Computerised (SOE) with Digital X-rays (Vistascan), and Intra Oral Cameras in each room. You will have the backing of an experienced principal dentist (not a corporate chain manager), 3 practice coordinators, 6 Long Term Dental Nurses, 3 Hygienists, 4 other dentists. We deliver NHS Dentistry, Private Dentistry, Facial Aesthetics, Invisalign and Dental Implants.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our 5-surgery dental practice in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, here in hip Shoreditch, East London. The successful candidate will have a passion for oral health and a commitment to delivering excellent NHS and Private Dental Care.
Duties:
- Conduct dental examinations and provide appropriate treatment plans, mainly on the NHS
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns - NHS and Private
- Diagnose oral diseases and conditions through patient examinations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Interpret X-rays and other medical imaging for diagnosis
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals
- Keep accurate patient records using SOE Software
- Carry out NHS Administrative Duties
- Carry out Compliance and Clinical Governance Duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from a recognised institution
- Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- NHS VT Number and Experience in NHS General Dental Practice
- Proven experience working as a Dentist in a clinical setting, at least 3 years post VT
- In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
- Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging for diagnosis
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health care practices
- Recognisable Post Graduate Education preferable
