In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, advocating for preventative care, and ensuring the overall oral health of your patients. Your expertise and patient-centered approach will be paramount in providing exceptional dental services and fostering a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnostic tests to assess oral health. Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure quality patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school. Current dental license to practice in the applicable state. 1-3 years of experience in a clinical dental setting preferred. Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to manage patient anxiety and provide compassionate care. Commitment to continuing education and staying current with dental advancements.
