The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to underserved populations, focusing on preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the oral health of the community while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform routine dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. * Provide preventive care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education. * Deliver restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions. * Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate follow-up care. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with FQHC and regulatory standards. * Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote oral health awareness. * Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment. QUALIFICATIONS * Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school. * Valid Illinois dental license in good standing. * Experience working in a rural or community health setting preferred. * Knowledge of FQHC operations and compliance is a plus. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. * Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
