DENTIST- (Full Time)   Are you passionate about helping the underserved?   Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). WNCCHS delivers patient care with a highly integrated team of fifteen family medicine practitioners, three dentists, and eight behavioral health clinicians with on-site pharmacy services in a community health center setting. We are seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our practice.   RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide comprehensive dental treatment to adults and children including restorative, oral surgery, and removable prosthodontics, as well as limited endodontics and fixed prosthodontics. * Evaluate risk factors to promote disease prevention and oral health * Provide clinical supervision to Registered Dental Hygienists * Provide after-hours telephone coverage on a rotating basis. * Participate in quality improvement activities, including development of clinical forms and protocols and attendance at quality assurance/quality improvement meetings.  * Work on Mobile Dental Unit as assigned * Occasionally, other appropriate duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor. EXPERIENCE: * Current and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in North Carolina, or ability to obtain NC license * Doctoral degree in dental surgery (DDS) or dental medicine (DMD) * One year of experience or AEGD/GPR training is preferred * Familiarity with role of FQHC in the community is preferred ADDITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED: (NOT REQUIRED) * Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Russian.
