JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our office, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for providing exceptional service in a dental or medical office environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a dental office or similar medical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with dental assisting practices, CAD software, and medical terminology is highly desirable.
  • A foreign trained dentist with the ability to understand dentures including repairs, relines and other lab procedures will be preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient scheduling and appointment management to ensure smooth operations within the office.
  • Support dental professionals by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Utilize CAD software for creating dental models and assisting in design processes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical terminology and laboratory results, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, answering any questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized office environment that promotes efficiency and professionalism.
