DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Edgewood University’s Henry Predolin School of Nursing (SoN) seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Department Head of Clinical Education and Lab Immersion for the Online Accelerated BSN Program. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing the clinical components of the program and coordinating student immersion experiences on campus. The role includes supervising clinical faculty, collaborating with simulation, lab skills, and physical assessment faculty, and ensuring exceptional clinical and lab-based learning experiences.
This is a hybrid position. While much of the work may be completed remotely, the Department Head must be available to be on campus in Madison, WI, during student immersion periods to plan, lead, and participate in simulation, skills lab, and physical assessment activities.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Department Head of Clinical Education and Lab Immersion will lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of clinical education and student immersions. This includes securing clinical placements, managing clinical faculty, supporting student progression, and integrating both clinical and lab-based education into the broader curriculum.
