Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a Department Manager you will play an important role in fostering a diverse and inclusive environment while representing the brand image and corporate values of INDITEX. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager and the Assistant Store Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations of your department, manage product placement, and optimize the store layout to enhance profitability and create an engaging fashion experience. Your role includes organizing and developing the team of your department to ensure effective collaboration and exceptional customer service, while also ensuring that fashion trends and customer preferences are met. You will be reporting directly to the Store Manager and the Assistant Store Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate understanding of commercial tools to be able to support the commercial and operations managers.
  • Improve the department’s performance and work towards the overall development of the Store.
  • Ensure your department is in line with the company’s visual guidelines.
  • Oversee replenishment is done in a timely and effective manner across the store.
  • Participate in the planning and manage the process of the stock deliveries and sales preparation.
  • Prepare monthly schedules for the store and manage holidays according to the business needs.
  • Communicate accordingly the recruitment needs of your department to the Store Manager.
  • Resolve effectively customer queries and manage conflict.
  • Foster & embed D&I culture and ensure an inclusive, respectful workplace for all.
  • Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
  • Being ambassador of the company’s sustainability commitment.
