Role Statement Lead assigned department and assist with any issues that may arise. Provide outstanding customer service to our clientele by answering their questions and by recommending the appropriate items to complete customer's projects. Location This position will be performed onsite at our store. Remote work is not available for this role. Outcomes for Success In conjunction with the Store Manager, responsible for the operational performance of their assigned department Assists customers with product information, selection and purchase. Offers solutions for out of stock items Maintains department inventory, including cycle counts, in an effort to maximize sales and inventory turn. Ensures safety at all times Assists in training department and store personnel in your assigned functions, including sales and customer service techniques. Ensures the appearance of the store’s interior and exterior are maintained to standards. Empowered to direct the work of others by assigning tasks, creating schedules, communicating priorities, and motivating the team. May perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills High school diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years of experience preferred but not required Physical Requirements Light to medium work: Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
