Main responsibilities: To complete a variety of specialized duties that support functional operations. The duties in the department specialist job family focus on tasks and/or work that are unique to the department and require knowledge and skills that are beyond what are required for general office work. The Asset Tagging team is responsible for tagging and maintaining detailed records of the equipment in our retail store facilities. This position will primarily be responsible for managing the accuracy of asset records in Corrigo, our Facilities Maintenance Work Order Management system, including addition of new equipment, transfer of equipment between retail locations, and retirement of equipment removed from stores. Asset Tagging specialists are also responsible for preparing outgoing mail of physical asset tags. Maintains complex asset records in Corrigo, Facilities WO Management system Communicates with internal customers including retail store associates, division operations and facilities maintenance, as well as related corporate office customers Coordinates project data with third party asset tagging vendor(s) Prepares and mails physical asset tags to stores, division, and vendor partners Responds to inquiries in area of responsibility Collects data/information for department use in special projects or reports Updates information and reports typically on the computer Checks information for accuracy Prepares and balances data Answers department phones as needed and routes to appropriate area Reviews information/data and makes decisions within well-defined guidelines, parameters, and instruction Examines and prioritizes documents to determine work to be completed or best course of action Collects information for specific department reports Creates and maintains complex reports Sorts, files and maintains invoices, receipts, contracts, or other special department documents Compiles minor statistical data Makes and checks routine one and two step math calculations Completes keyboarding projects such as preparing correspondence and mailings Checks own work for accuracy Coordinates special programs and/or events Reviews and/or compares information/data and makes determination within defined guidelines, parameters, and instruction Maintains complex records and files, searches and investigates information found in files Compiles information and data from various sources for specific departmental reports, and creates reports, graphs and data comparisons Posts records and processes departmental documents requiring specific knowledge of functional area Completes detailed keyboarding projects such as preparing correspondence from rough drafts and completing specialized departmental forms Responds to inquiries that require specialized knowledge of the function to respond We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Reading, writing, math, and communication skills at a proficient level Ability to follow verbal or written instruction Detail oriented Keyboarding proficiency Computer skills: Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel Experience with retail grocery industry and Corrigo preferred We also provide a variety of benefits including: Competitive wages paid weekly Associate discounts Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)
