Description

Description Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a skilled Deployment Engineer III to support our SecureView team. This is an onsite position located at Lackland AFB and requires a TS/SCI. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and managing ESXi/VMware servers, Cisco Firepower ASA VPN, RHEL and Windows servers, as well as Linux and Windows workstations. You will provide support for SecureView at both local and remote CVAH customer sites and deliver training to administrators and end users on SecureView technologies. What You’ll Do: Create, modify and update Cisco ASA VPN and Switch configs using CLI and ASDM. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco VPN IPSEC tunnel trust-points and certificates. Linux and Windows workstation installation, management and troubleshooting. ESXi server install, configure and troubleshoot. Create and support Windows and RHEL VMs. IP subnetting and dynamic and static routing configuration and troubleshooting. IP troubleshooting using tools such as debug, traceroute, packet capture and log parsing. Acts as the SME for assessments and provides Tier 3-4 support for the SecureView implementation. Develop and execute test plans for hardware/software upgrades. Develop technical documentation and diagrams. Maintain infrastructure, including all hardware and software, for SecureView implementation. Supports customer calls. Education/Experience/Skillset Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in performing IT deployments or service delivery in an end user/customer environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Min. of 2 years’ experience with: Cisco CLI and Cisco networking principles Linux/RHEL Windows Server Help desk and other customer support functions Copper and fiber cable technologies Understanding of hypervisors including Xen, VMWare, and Citrix Experience with technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis Active certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (i.e., CompTIA Security+ CE) Knowledgeable of issues related to system installs in the USAF cyber community and DoD sites including local and remote users and site managers Preferred Experience/Skillset: CCNA certification Strong familiarity with cross-domain systems and/or virtualization?and VDI environments?(Citrix, VMWare)? TACLANE IP configuration and routing troubleshooting Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Travel Required: Up to 25% AA / Disability / Veteran US Salary Range: $94,000 - $147,000 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience.
