Thales in the Czech Republic employs over 400 people from 45 different nationalities. A total of 15 teams work on projects for government agencies, banking, mobile services and the Internet Of Things (IoT) technology. These include many kinds of payment cards, SIM cards, travel passes, secure eBanking devices, authentication tokens, machine identification modules (MIM), and secure ID documents including ePassports, eID and eHealth cards, as well as eDriving licenses. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in computer Science, Telecom, or related discipline

MANDATORY SKILLS FOR HIRING:

• Unix systems - Has to have advanced Linux experience (at least 3 years using Linux).
• Shell or python or perl scripting - Needs to be able to read & understand basic shell scripts. Has to be autonomous in one of the 3 languages for linux tasks automation (bash, python, perl).
• Network - Understands IPv4 protocol (network size, broadcast, default gateway). Knows how packet routing works
• Has experience with versioning and tracking systems (Git, Mercurial, SVN)
• Has experience with automation (Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
• Familiar with working on Cloud systems (AWS) and with microservices
• Familiar with DevOps tools (Gitlab)
• SQL Language - Should be able to write SQL queries, do table joins and filter out the necessary values.

Semi-optional – at least two should be autonomous:

• Apache and other webservers - Understands apache virtual hosts concept, is able to configure basic proxy setup and understand Directory/Location directives.
• Has experience with SSL certificates configuration and knows the difference between Basic/Mutual authentications.
• Understands SOAP and other web services, knows WSS

OTHERS

• We would like someone to join our team who is customer-oriented, a strong communicator, quick learner and self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, a team-player, organized, able to manage conflicts, analytical and a problem-solver.
• We are looking for someone with at least 3-4 years of experience in systems administration, solutions delivery, integration engineering or software support.
