Overview The Deployment Technician supports the Desktop Support Team by imaging, installing, and migrating data for client computers. This role involves coordinating deployment schedules, documenting hardware inventory and troubleshooting activities, and ensuring accurate updates to the asset management system. The technician also translates technical information into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities Assist the Desktop Support Team with imaging, installing, and migrating data for clients’ personal computers. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information to assist with deployment activities. Update /Document tickets assigned for hardware inventory, troubleshooting, and equipment moves/relocations Coordinate customer schedules and appointments for new computer deployments or system replacements. Perform inventory receipt, tagging, and assignment to update the customer asset management system. Responsible for translating technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust Familiarity with MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) Experience with BigFix Operating System Deployment (OSD) Symantec Ghost Imaging (Desirable) Organizational skills – inventory management Familiarity with Sunflower, Ticketing Systems, and other Asset Management Tools Ability to communicate with executive-level staff Basic troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment Ability to work alone and in a team environment Teamwork – the willingness to support the team to the end result of meeting the client's needs May require lifting hardware up to 40 lbs. from building to building Must have Excellent Customer Service and Time Management Skills Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance Desired Qualifications: CompTIA A+ Certification 1 year of experience working with/handling computer equipment Basic Compensation: $55,500 - $59,500 yearly salary The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
