Description Position Reports to: Vice President, Deposit Banking and Support Manager Objective: The Deposit Banking Specialist is the point of contact for existing and new clients to Platinum Bank. This position will be responsible for maintaining a positive, high-touch, hospitable client experience while exemplifying Platinum Bank’s Client Service Standards, to ensure every client or guest receives unparalleled service, exceeding their expectations. In addition, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day banking needs of our clients, including opening and retaining deposit relationships, assisting in problem resolutions, processing transactions, and providing customer service for Platinum Bank’s clients. The Deposit Banking Specialist will provide support to multiple areas of banking across Platinum and manage other project duties as assigned. This position will assist departments and/or individuals who work in a remote environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Performs deposit account/services to include opening of new consumer accounts, opening of commercial specialty accounts, performing account maintenance, troubleshooting service requests, assisting clients with account inquiries, preparing documents, and performing system setup for deposits, retail online banking, and other related products and services. Able to work in person at both branch locations (Oakdale & Plymouth), with responsibilities that include opening and/or closing. Shift hours and lengths may vary based on operational needs. Backup account opening support for the Cash Management team. Responsible for managing and resolving client inquiries, processing transactions, and providing support to clients through incoming phone calls. Perform the day-to-day operational teller & deposit banking functions of Platinum Banks branch service delivery model for both Oakdale & Plymouth locations. Collaborate with third-party service providers and internal support staff to efficiently aid in the onboarding and ongoing management of the client relationship. Assist with scanning, new account checkback verification, and file maintenance review. Ensure that all security procedures are strictly followed. Other Responsibilities: Provide assistance to those departments and/or individuals who work in a remote environment. Comply with Federal and State Regulatory Compliance Statutes and bank policies and procedures applicable to the functions being performed. Performs other responsibilities as assigned to include various clerical & data entry duties, branch hospitality, and facility management assistance. Assist in problem resolutions. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience: High School degree or GED Required. New account opening experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Capacity to quickly adapt.
