Description PURPOSE: Provides prompt, tactful, friendly, courteous and efficient service to customer by phone and provides research and data entry. This position is responsible to perform a wide variety of tasks from basic clerical duties, to more advanced deposit and reconciliation/accounting resolution. Must exhibit problem resolution and time management skills. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1) Daily Balancing of core applications and systems. 2) Perform accurate data entry and maintenance of deposit accounts. 3) Data entry and retrieval of information from multiple software applications within the department. 4) Problem resolution for both internal and external customers. 5) Accurately perform Bank general ledger and deposit account reconciliations. 6) Render Customer statements. 7) Maintains compliance to all government regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation E (Electronic Funds), Regulation CC (Funds Availability, CRA and Regulation DD. 8) Responsible for various wire duties, as well as performs duties/support for mobile deposits and other online services. 9) Responsible for accurately scanning, indexing and auditing deposit-related documentation for the Bank. 10) Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Two year degree or equivalent experience preferred with emphasis in accounting/business. This candidate should possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills; detail oriented; skills in time management and ability to perform multiple tasks; strong communication skills. Microcomputer literate with strong knowledge of spread and word processing programs. Strong telephone and customer service skills.
