Description Position Summary: The Deposit Service Representative position consists of but not limited to processing new account transactions; assisting customers with their financial needs; cross-selling products/service; opening, maintaining, and closing of all account types; handling routine customer inquiries. This position functions relatively independently with general supervision. Major Duties & Accountabilities: Takes part and embraces the Legacy Culture and provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Working knowledge of all types of accounts offered by the Bank. These include personal, business, Trust, HSA (Health Savings Account), CD (Certificate of Deposit), IRAs (Individual Retirement Account) and safe deposit boxes. Assists customers with their new account needs as well as additional financial needs. Follows security and compliance procedures. Uses problem solving skills to assist customers with inquiries. Assist customers with wire transfers, stop payments and change of address requests. Take customer calls about debit cards. Must become familiar with Trism, Navigator, and Fi-Serve. Initiate debit card disputes. Assist customers with Online and Mobile banking. All other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Required: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous cash handling experience. Strong computer skills. Strong communication skills. Preferred: 1 year of previous banking experience.
