About Us:
Chevron Traffic Management is a leading provider of Traffic Management solutions across the UK. As we expand our Urban Solutions Division, we are launching a new depot in Beccles, Suffolk, to support our growing operations in the region.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Depot Administrator to oversee all administrative functions at the depot, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is crucial in managing staff records, vehicle logistics, hire contracts, and customer interactions, playing a key part in supporting the depot’s success.
About the role of Depot Administrator:
As Depot Administrator, you will be the central point of coordination for all depot related administration. You will ensure that staff records, vehicle allocations, contracts, and customer enquiries are handled efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of organisation and compliance.
You will be customer-facing, assisting with enquiries and ensuring smooth interactions between the depot, clients, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain staff records, including training, certifications, and scheduling
  • Manage vehicle allocations, servicing schedules, and hire contracts
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Support the Depot Manager in financial tracking, invoicing, and reporting
  • Assist with contract management, ensuring all agreements are up to date and compliant
  • Implement and maintain IT systems and digital records for effective depot management
  • Support stock control, procurement, and general office organisation
  • Ensure all Health & Safety and compliance documentation is maintained accurately
  • Oversee all administrative tasks within the depot to ensure smooth operations

Desirable attributes for a Depot Administrator:

  • Experience in a fast paced administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and to deadlines

Desirable attributes for a Depot Administrator:

  • Experience managing vehicle records, contracts, or fleet administration
  • Knowledge of local Suffolk operations and logistics
