We are looking to fill an immediate opening at Planet Earth Recycling. We proudly service West Kelowna and the Okanagan as a recycling hub for scrap metals, electronics, appliances, and almost everything else!
We are hoping to meet a self motivated, quick-learning individual. Current Depot Attendant positions available are as follows:
Sorters - Our sorters separate a wide variety of recyclable items into specific bags for processing. These items include electronics, books, metals, batteries, residential recyclables, etc.
Baler Operators - Our balers create bales of cardboard and/or plastics for processing.
All training necessary will be provided, and while this position is entry level, it does offer room for growth in our company.
If you have dust allergies, this may not be the job for you. All employees must have steel toe work boots, while other PPE will be provided. These are both fairly labour-intensive jobs so please keep that in mind when applying.
Full time positions available, starting at $18 per hour, based on experience. Our business hours are between 8:00 and 4:30, Monday to Saturday.
Prior experience in warehouse work and/or experience with forklift operating is preferred, but not required.
