About the role:

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this position will be accountable for the safe and reliable day to day operational management of the Quilpie Depot.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily operational management & supervision of depot staff including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Responsible for administration and reconciliation of stock
  • Collaborating with other departments to coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Comply with all external regulatory requirements – including BFM
  • Handling customer enquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional manner

The successful applicant will require:

  • Previous experience in heavy vehicle &/or fuel industry an advantage
  • Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility legislation
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with proven record of building & maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confident decision-maker with ability to work autonomously & lead a team within a diverse logistics operation
  • Well-developed organisational, problem solving and time management skills
